Abstract
Bindings in this exhibition were commissioned by two ingenious Scottish booksellers, Kulgin Duval and Colin Hamilton, from twenty-three members of Britain's Designer Bookbinders, to who the impressive range of activity in British bookbinding. They include: James Brockman, Anthony Cains, Jeff Clements, Sydney M Cockerell, Arthur Currie, Edward Gray, Elizabeth Greenhill, Angela James, Arthur Johnson, Trevor Jones, Denise Lubett, Edgar Mansfield, William Matthews, Bernard Middleton, Gemma O'Connor, John Plummer, Roger Powell, Ivor Robinson, Pat Russell, Faith Shannon, Philip Smith, Sally Lou Smith, Frederick Louis Wood, and E. P. Womersley.
