Binding by June McNicol, 1996
Binding Notes:
Binding Carried out according to the instructions in the book. The book was sewn in sections on three fibre tape, rounded but not backed. Black leather headbands were glued on. A green leather spine was prepared and glued to the first sheet. The boards were prepared separately, beveled to fit the swell as well as edge beveled, edged with green leather and covered with paste paper. The front board was titled with a paper inlay blocked in carbon black.
The finished boards were glued to the outer pages, filled in and sanded to remove any evidence of structure and the endpapers were tipped in and pasted down.
